Recent news and updates

  • Dec. 2024: I will attend the Optimization Workshop in Bogota, Colombia, where I'll also present a poster on our recent strong duality result from our latest paper on Lagrangian reformulations in nonconvex optimization.

  • Oct. and Nov. 2024: I will be presenting our work on Lagrangian reformulations in nonconvex optimization at the upcoming INFORMS Annual meeting and at the 2024 Siam New York-New Jersey-Pennsylvania section Conference SIAM-NNP.

  • July 2024: I had the great opportunity to organize a Quantum Computing session at ISMP. You can see our invited speakers and their abstracts here.

  • August 2023: Together with Brandon Augustino, I organized several Quantum Computing Optimization sessions for the EURopt 2023 conference in Budapest, Hungary.

  • Summer 2023: I completed my internship at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where I studied and compared adiabatic regimes of higher-order Ising formulations with Max Cut reformulations of binary polynomial optimization problems. For the computational part of the project, we used the Julia package QuantumAnnealing.jl to address Ising models with interactions of order higher than 2.

  • Spring 2023: I had the honor of attending and presenting my work at the semester program at ICERM: Discrete Optimization: Mathematics, Algorithms, and Computation.
